How do I know which rack my machine has?
Look at the rear rack: black steel tubes mean a metal rack; a one-piece plastic deck means a plastic rack. LinQ (Can-Am) and Lock & Ride (Polaris) are the makers’ own accessory mounting systems.
What’s in the set
Depending on the box, the set includes quick-release fasteners and keyed metal locks. Each box’s page lists the exact set.
Do I need tools to install the box?
Usually not. Most boxes attach to the factory rack holes with quick-release fasteners you tighten by hand; it takes 30 seconds to a minute. A few bolt down and need a screwdriver; the product page says which.
